Paul is the founder and executive director of PSJ Group, a diversified agricultural holdings company.
Sakata Seed Corporation is a Japanese company founded in 1913 by Takeo Sakata. Headquartered in Yokohama, it is operational in over 130 countries and represented by 32 subsidiaries, with PSJ Group as their South African Partner. PSJ Group has exclusive rights to Sakata Seed Corporation genetics in specific markets, distribution, incubation, project management of smallholder farmers nationally and strategic relationships.
Paul is also the co-founder of Land Rehabilitation Company, in partnership with the Enterprises University of Pretoria and The National House of Traditional Leaders. The latter represents over 800 traditional leaders, with tribal land covering over 13% of South Africa’s total surface, home to roughly 20 million people. He is leading the One Million Hectare Integrated Food Production Initiative , driving commercial strategy and implementation to bring in production and economic activity to revitalise the rural economy.
He is also co-founder of Agricintech , a climate smart green company working with Eskom to beneficiate coal ash waste to produce a soil substrate condition product that increases land fertility and productivity of degraded mine land.
